The Joint Industrial Development Authority’s Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is designed to provide “gap” financing for small and emerging businesses in Wythe County in order to foster a healthy local economy. Businesses throughout Wythe County and the towns of Rural Retreat and Wytheville are all eligible to apply. Entrepreneurs and seasoned business people are equally encouraged to consider our fund for financing.
The JIDA Loan Committee meets as needed to review applications and make approval recommendations to the whole Board of Directors. For consideration in a given month, complete applications should be received in the JIDA office at least 14 days prior to the board meeting that month (4th Thursday). Applicants should be prepared to provide financial information including projections with their application. JIDA staff can walk you through the process.
Business plans are required and we have resources to guide you through the process or other agencies to which we can refer you for more one-on-one assistance. Just contact us.
