Progress Park

Progress Park is a premier collection of industrial sites at the intersection of Interstates 81 and 77 near Wytheville. Ready and graded sites ranging from a few acres up to a graded pad of 166 acres means that we can accommodate projects of all sizes.

Years of investment and planning mean ready sites are available to fast-track projects of various sizes. Engineering and geotechnical work helps minimize the unknowns that burden any project. In fact, Wythe County has worked with Virginia Business Ready Sites and Appalachian Power to do various site characterizations to help you compare sites across your area of interest.

This map of Progress Park shows the park boundaries, existing industries, and possible lot layouts. The park is not subdivided, except for previously sold lots, so remaining lot boundaries can be adjusted to meet varied prospect needs. Please contact the Joint IDA for assistance in determining appropriate lots that would suit your project.

Progress Park is owned by Wythe County and marketed by the Joint IDA of Wythe County. Phase I Environmental Assessment, archaeology, and soil boring reports are available upon request. Protective covenants are in place to ensure proper land use consistent with an industrial park. Contact us to receive those covenants.
